Editors Pick

My all-time favorite label Acuarela Discos does it again. This time they employ beautifully arranged mellow acoustic lo-fi indie.

Comprised of the best that slowcore or apartment rock could offer, Rivulets are at absolute zero in the coldness factor. Some would suggest that’s apparent due to Nathan Amundson’s Alaskan roots but this type of melancholy isn’t region specific.

“Shadow of a Ghost” is a beautiful composition that lo-fi and pop-enthusiasts would both embrace opting for a sound that Damien Rice fans could easily fall in love with. Absolutely the biggest surprise to have been ushered my way in a long time. Wow.
