“Okay kids, I’ll make this quick. As we all know, The Church’s head is on the block (Ed. note: for those who don’t know, The Church, a longstanding performance space which I used during the early ‘00s to book bands such as Wolf Eyes, Animal Collective, Costes, Leslie Keffer etc., when no other place would, is going to be torn down to make way for a hospital parking lot) and the axe will swing soon. Susan Lynn has created a online petition to save The Church. If you ever cared about that place at all (and I know a lot of you benefitted from its presence as much as I did), then sign this petition a.s.a.p.. It takes less than a minute, so do it now, on the off-chance that we can rescue what has been consistently one of the best places in town to see outsider and underground music from all over the country (and the world).

We would appreciate it greatly! Thanks so much!”
